TO TROUBLESHOOT:
NOTE: The occurrence of a problem will be indicated by a flashing Red LED and acoustic beep. The following troubleshooting procedure should then be followed in order to isolate the fault.
WARNING:
1. TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH; TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE AND TEST THAT POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING!
If the unit is wired to circuit breakers assigned exclusively to the SPD in the service panel, use them to turn power OFF. If the unit is wired to a disconnect switch, use it to turn power OFF.
2. Note the location of any extinguished replaceable module (Green) LEDs, and refer to Figure 1 to determine the corresponding open fuses.
For Delta panels ONLY: When only one phase voltage is out (with no fuse or module failure) Delta panels revert to single phase, the Green LEDs stay ON and the diagnostic
warning remains inactive.
3. Remove the fuse noted in Step 1 and test it for continuity. If the fuse is good, check that the required power has been applied and that a circuit breaker has not been tripped
because of other problems. If so, reinstall fuse and restore power.
If the fuse is open, remove the corresponding module as described in Step 4. If more that one module LED is extinguished, verify that the distribution panel has power. If all
power is present, then multiple modules and fuses have failed. In either case (one or more modules have been removed), surge protection has ceased and the modules and
fuses must be replaced.
4. Remove the module noted in Step 1 by carefully rocking the module as it is pulled up. Be careful not to touch the module pins!
CAUTION (TO AVOID CAPACITIVE SHOCK):
SCREWDRIVER, SHORT ACROSS EACH PAIR OF TERMINALS; THREE PAIRS FOR WYE; FOUR PAIRS FOR DELTA MODULES. THE SHORTING PROCEDURE IS
NECESSARY IN ORDER TO AVOID SHOCK THAT CAN CAUSE FATAL OR SERIOUS INJURY.
5. Replace the removed modules and fuses with new modules and fuses of the same exact rating and Leviton Catalog Number. Replacement Fuse: Littelfuse Model: LVSP 30-2.
New modules come supplied with a suitable replacement fuse.
CAUTION:
SPD MODULES AND FUSES PROVIDED MUST BE IDENTICAL TO THOSE REMOVED FROM THE BOARD.
6. After the modules and fuses have been replaced, restore power. The module's Green LEDs will now all be illuminated.
7. Press the TEST button to verify that no damage has occurred to the panel's diagnostic electronics.
8. If diagnostic warning indication is ON, an all module LEDs are illuminated, the diagnostic assembly or diagnostic cable and connector are defective and must be replaced.

DIAGNOSTIC DES ANOMALIES :
REMARQUE : les éventuels problèmes seront indiqués par le clignotement d'un témoin rouge et l'émission d'une tonalité. Le cas échéant, on doit suivre les directives suivantes
pour isoler la défaillance.
AVERTISSEMENT :
1. POUR ÉVITER LES RISQUES D'INCENDIE, DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE OU D'ÉLECTROCUTION, COUPER LE COURANT AU FUSIBLE OU AU
DISJONCTEUR ET S'ASSURER QUE LE CIRCUIT SOIT BIEN COUPÉ AVANT DE PROCÉDER À L'INSTALLATION.
Le DLST du panneau de branchement peut être relié soit à un sectionneur, soit à un disjoncteur distinct; pour couper le courant, il suffit de le déterminer et d'actionner le
dispositif approprié.
2. Noter l'emplacement des témoins verts de module éteints et se reporter à la figure 1 pour déterminer à quels fusibles ouverts ils correspondent.
Panneaux Delta (en triangle) seulement : quand une seule tension de phase est en jeu (sans défaillance de fusible ni de module), ce type de panneau se met à fonctionner en
mode monophasé; les témoins verts restent allumés et les avertisseurs diagnostics demeurent inactifs.
3. Retirer le fusible déterminé à l'étape 1 et en vérifier la continuité. S'il est bon, s'assurer que l'alimentation soit adéquate et qu'un disjoncteur n'ait pas été déclenché par un
problème autre. Le cas échéant, remettre le fusible et rétablir le courant.
Si le fusible est ouvert, retirer le module correspondant, tel que décrit à l'étape 4. Si plus d'un témoin de module est éteint, s'assurer que le panneau soit bien alimenté. Si
l'alimentation est adéquate, c'est que plusieurs modules et fusibles font défaut. Que la défaillance soit attribuable à un seul module ou à plusieurs, aucune protection n'est plus
assurée contre les surtensions, et les dispositifs concernés doivent être remplacés.
4. Retirer le module correspondant au fusible déterminé à l'étape 1; le tirer vers le haut en lui imprimant un délicat mouvement de va-et-vient. Prendre soin de ne pas toucher les
broches du module!
MISE EN GARDE (POUR ÉVITER LES CHOCS DE NATURE CAPACITIVE) :
TENSION. AU MOYEN D'UN OUTIL ISOLÉ (TOURNEVIS PAR EXEMPLE), ON DOIT COURT-CIRCUITER CHAQUE PAIRE DE BORNES (TROIS POUR LES INSTALLATIONS
EN ÉTOILE [WYE], QUATRE POUR CEUX EN TRIANGLE [DELTA]). CE COURT-CIRCUITAGE EST NÉCESSAIRE POUR ÉVITER LES CHOCS SUSCEPTIBLES
D'ENTRAÎNER DES BLESSURES GRAVES OU MORTELLES.
5. Remplacer les modules et fusibles retirés par des dispositifs neufs aux mêmes valeurs nominales et numéros de catalogue Leviton (chaque module est livré avec son fusible).
Fusible de remplacement: Modèle Littelfuse: LVSP 30-2.
MISE EN GARDE :
LES MODULES ET FUSIBLES DE REMPLACEMENT DOIVENT ÊTRE IDENTIQUES À CEUX RETIRÉS DU PANNEAU.
6. Rétablir l'alimentation une fois tous les remplacements effectués. Les témoins verts devraient tous s'allumer.
7. Appuyer sur le bouton de vérification (TEST) pour s'assurer que les circuits diagnostiques du panneau n'aient pas été endommagés.
8. Si tous les témoins de module sont allumés, mais que celui de diagnostic l'est aussi, c'est que l'assemblage, le câble ou le connecteur de vérification sont défectueux et
doivent être remplacés.
