On screen messages

7.4.1

Start-up sequence

When the controller is switched on it goes through a start-up sequence and the LCD displays the 5 following on screen
messages:

Warning messages

If a malfunction of the amplified controller is detected a blinking warning message will appear on the LCD screen. As it
stands, 5 warning messages can be displayed:
HIGH TEMPERATURE :
SIGNAL ATTENUATION
DC ERROR :
SWITCH OFF
POWER FAILURE:
SWITCH OFF
FUSE PROTECT
DSP ERROR :
SWITCH OFF

The first on screen message indicates that all LEDs will be lit momentarily for
testing purposes.
The second on screen message displays the type of the current controller and the
version of the preset library in use.
The third on screen message displays the version of the firmware in use.
The fourth on screen message displays the IP address and the Serial Number
(or MAC address) of the current controller.
The fifth on screen message indicates the end of the start-up sequence and that no
fault has been detected.
Appears when the temperature of one of the 4 amp channel heat sink reaches
85 °C, the input signal going into all amp channels is attenuated (see section 7.6.1).
Appears when a persistent DC voltage of plus or minus 3 V is detected at one of
the amplifier output circuits (see section 7.6.2).
Appears when a power related fault is detected by the DSP whether its cause is
due to internal or external factors (see sections 7.6.3 through 7.6.5).
Appears when the main input current draw is too high and indicates that the fuse
protection feature is activated (see section 7.6.6).
Appears when the DSP and the Linux operating system do not communicate with
each other (see section 7.6.7).
