8. Once the heat exchanger assembly has been removed, the coils may be vacuumed with the soft brush
attachment. (Figure 6)

9. Once cleaning is complete, slide the heat exchanger back into its original position using the screw holes
on the division panel for alignment.
10. Re-fasten the screws to attach the blower assembly to the division panel and the heat exchanger
assembly (screws fastened from lower vestibule through to the upper vestibule) and place thread covers.
11. Feed the wire connectors through to the lower vestibule, secure to the division panel using the twist-lock
grommet and re-connect the connectors to the harness in the lower vestibule.
12. Hook up the condensate drain lines for proper drainage.
13. Replace the blower access and heat exchanger access doors.
14. Restore electrical power to the furnace.
15. Routine cleaning of the interior of the recovery coil should not be necessary. If evidence develops
indicating that a cleaning is necessary, it should be done by a trained and qualifi ed service technician.
Evidence may induce large amounts of dirt or debris building up in the condensate drain line.
IMPORTANT:
Be careful not to bend the fi ns when cleaning. You may wish to leave this maintenance procedure
to your service technician.
