MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF NOVUS

ORDINARY MAINTENANCE ( or preventive )
THE ORDINARY MAINTENANCE OF THE AID HAS TO BE DONE AT LEAST EVERY
MONTH.
ALL THE PERIODIC WORKS OF MAINTENANCE ARE NECESSARY TO ASSURE THE
RIGHT USE OF THE PUSHCHAIR AND ITS SAFETY. IT IS ALSO THE MAIN
REQUIREMENT TO KEEP THE CE MARKING.
ONLY WHEN THESE INTERVENTIONS ARE COMPLETED IN THE TIME AND WAY
HEREIN SPECIFIED, THE RESPONSIBILITY OF KEEPING THE MAIN REQUIREMENTS
OF THE PUSHCHAIR (ENCL.1, EEA/93/42 STANDARD) IS UP TO THE
MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO RECOMMENDS HAVING THE
FUNCTION / SAFETY OF YOUR DEVICE THOROUGHLY CHECKED BY THE SUPPLIER
AT THE FOLLOWING INTERVALS:
1. within 3 months of purchase;
2. within six months of purchase;
3. once a year thereafter.
Clean and disinfect the device and its accessories regularly, following the
instructions provided below.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING THE VARNISHED AND CHROMIUM-PLATED
FRAME
Clean and disinfect the varnished chromium-plated parts of the stroller with a soft cloth
dipped in diluted wethylated spirit.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING THE UPHOLSTERY
Clean the 819 canopy, the 825 rain cover and the 834 abduction block with a soft cloth
dipped and diluted in water.
In order to wash the upholstery of the Novus scrupulously follow the instructions herein
specified:
- Detach the four parts of upholstery from the backrest and seat; the protecting covers and
the padded parts of the accessories;
- Remove the foam from the side padded supports using the zipper;
- Wash with mild detergent and respect the words of the symbols :

- Once the upholstery is dried, fix it to the frame thanks to buttons.
CLEANING THE TRAY
Clean tray 824 with a sponge wet with detergent and water. After rinsing, dry it well with a soft
cloth.
