7. Microphone Test on the Xbox One Controller
without a 3.5 mm Connection
• The mute switch (2) mutes the microphone on the
headset (A), but not the speakers.
• Ensure that you deactivate the mute function (B)
before connecting the headset to your Xbox One
headset adapter using the 3.5 mm jack plug (4).
Otherwise, the headset will only be recognised as
headphones (chat not possible) until the next time you
connect it.
• The two "Game DVR" and "Upload Studio" Xbox One
apps can be used for a function test.
• Once you have downloaded both apps, first start
"Game DVR" under "Docking" in the Xbox One Home
menu.
• Record a new clip in the game of your choice and save
it on your Xbox One.
• Open the "Upload Studio" app under "My Apps".
• In the app, select "Start editing" and "Variable cut"
• In the next window, import your recorded clip into the
app and select "Record comment"
• You can now check the speech quality of the
microphone by playing back the recorded comment

8. Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make
sure that water does not get into the product.
