above the bonnet, and must be
attached symmetrically.

Tools required:
· Pliers for crimp terminals
· Folding rule
· 3 mm and 6mm hexagon keys
· 17 mm open-ended spanner
· Drill with 11 mm diameter
drill bit
· Universal pliers
Remove the lens carrier frame
and take out the headlamp insert.
Mark the fixing point for the
headlamp base on a stable
surface, and drill.
Drilled holes must be sealed
with rust protection!

Screw the headlamp base tightly
to the mounting surface, and
screw the headlamp base "hand-
tight" to the housing. Fit the
corresponding Hella bulbs to the
connector housing together with
the retaining spring, and fix this
retaining spring to the headlamp
insert.
Do not touch the bulbs with
bare fingers!
Use paper tissue or similar.

In order to guarantee optimum
light distribution, make sure that
the "TOP" marking on the
headlamp insert is always
pointing upwards when fitting the
headlamp insert. Now fit the lens
carrier frame and screw tight.
The retaining lug must point
towards the base.
