B. LIFETIME, STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
CONDITIONS
I) Lifetime
The lifetime of the product is 10 years. The shelf life of the product in
sleeping mode is 10 years from the date of manufacture indicated on the
box label. The useful life of the product is 500 charging cycles.
II) Conditions of transport and use
Ted K-Ortho should be transported at temperature
between: -25 °C to 70 °C.
Ted K-Ortho should be transported at maximum
ambient humidity of 90% RH (relative humidity).
Ted K-Ortho should be used at room temperature
between 5 and 40 °C.
Ted K-Ortho should be used at ambient pressure
between 700 and 1060 hPa.
Ted K-Ortho should be used in ambient humidity
between 15% RH and 90% RH (relative humidity).

II) Washing the knee brace
Do not wash the knee brace while charging.
Do not wash the charger and the magnetic connector.
The knee brace Ted K-Ortho can be hand-washed, without removing
electronic components. Remove the hinged bars on both sides of the knee
brace before hand-wash.
Once the Ted K-Ortho is ready to be washed, follow these steps :
1. Soak the knee brace in a basin of 5L of water at room temperature for 15
minutes. Use of hand-wash detergent in water at temperature between 20
and 30°C is recommended.
2. Squeeze the knee brace with caution.
3. Wipe properly the visible electronic components of the knee brace.
4. Let it air dry 12 hours on a clothes-airer.
5. Charge the knee brace for your next session.
III) Disposal
The device contain a battery and electronic components presenting risks
for environment if not correctly eliminated. Please contact local authorities
for determination of the appropriate waste disposal.
