Please Note!
■
The device and the accessories are
not dishwasher-safe. Only the rack
and the drip tray are dishwasher-safe.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
Clean the main unit (4), the drawer (13),
the rack (9) and the drip tray (8) after
every use to prevent germ formation and
to prevent food residues from burning.
Do not allow any food residues to dry
on.
• Clean the main unit with a damp cloth
and a little detergent if necessary.
• Rinse the accessories with detergent
and warm water. In the case of stub-
born dirt, we recommend soaking
the accessories in warm water and
detergent beforehand.
• Rinse out the water tank with deter-
gent and warm water and allow it to
dry with the cap open.
• Keep the device ready to operate
and regularly clean and descale the
water system (see "Cleaning the Wa-
ter System" and "Descaling").
• Allow all parts to dry completely or
dry them off.
Cleaning the Water System
1. Fill the water tank (10) completely
(see the "Filling the Water Tank"
chapter).
2. Switch on the device via the fi eld
(20).
3. Start the cleaning programme via
the fi eld
around 25 minutes. The device then
switches off automatically.

Descaling
Limescale deposits cause power losses
and shorten the lifespan of the device.
We therefore recommend regularly
removing limescale deposits with a
descaling agent in accordance with the
water quality in your area and how often
the device is used.
For descaling, instead of just using water,
fi ll the water tank (10) with a mixture of
water and descaling agent and then allow
the cleaning programme to run
(see "Cleaning the Water System").
A standard descaling agent for kitchen
equipment can be used for descaling.
Consult the instructions for using the
descaling agent with regard to the ratio
of water to descaling agent.
After descaling, perform at least three
cleaning runs with water to fl ush the
lines, etc.
Storage
• If the device is not going to be
used and before storing it away, it is
essential to remove any water from
the water tank. Thoroughly clean the
water tank before using it again.
• Store the device and all accessories
away in a clean, dry location that
is out of the reach of children and
animals.
