GENERAL AND INTRODUCTION
Installation of a garage door requires
technical knowledge and skills. The manu-
facturer is not responsible for damage to
equipment or personal injury that occurs
during assembly. Contact a skilled crafts-
man at the slightest doubt of one's ability
to install the door securely and accurately.
For reasons of safety study the instructions
carefully and make sure that you under-
stand them before beginning the instal-
lation. These installation instructions are
supplied with pictures. The manufacturer is
not liable for damage or functional defects
caused by not following the installation
instructions. For reasons of safety it is pro-
hibited to modify the door without approval.
If the door or its mechanism are modified,
or if an extra weight is fitted on the door,
the warranty will be void.
SAFETY
The mounts supplied with the door are
for walls and ceilings of ordinary brick,
wood, steel and concrete. If the door must
be fitted on other materials or if the walls
and ceiling are of a poor quality, it is the
installer's responsibility to use appropriate
good quality fittings. These can easily be
purchased from retail outlets. Use plugs
and screws with washers intended for the
wall material in question.
