• Do not allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges or come in contact with hot
surfaces.
• In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance with an external timer, remote controlled power outlet or
any other device that automatically turns the appliance on and off. There is a risk of
fi re if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned.
• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by a qualifi ed
electrician.
• Repairs carried out improperly or independently represent a risk of injury.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reasons.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
• This heater is not intended for using in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into bathtub or other water
container.
• The appliance is intended for indoor use and wall mounted use only.
• To prevent a possible fi re, do not block the space between the heater and the wall
which is for air intake or exhaust in any manner.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in the areas
where gasoline, paint, or fl ammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fi re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and
cause a risk of fi re.
• To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that already
has other appliances working.
• It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch. However, a loose fi t between
socket and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a
qualifi ed electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
• The output of this heater may vary and its temperature may become intense enough
to burn exposed skin. Use of this heater is not recommended for persons with
reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to react to avoid burns.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not use the appliance if you have wet hands.
• Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug the appliance from the power outlet and let
it cool down completely.
• Do not clean the appliance with abrasive chemicals.
• Only use accessories that are expressly recommended by the manufacturer.
CAUTION
Risk of burns! Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and
cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.
