1. Position PURA PLUS™ in the place where it is to be installed. If it is to be wall
mounted, drill holes along a horizontal line spaced 254 mm (10") apart for fixing
PURA PLUS™. Fix the instrument to the wall with the filters placed vertically and
level with 2 screw anchors having a capacity of at least 5 kg.
2. Screw the pipe reduction ¾ "F-¼" pipe (Code SPUA041) on tap (INSTALLED to
point E) of the water supply. An alternative you can use the fitting ½ "with its tap,
supplied (Code 2ZPUA0002).
3. Connect the water supply tap to the inlet of the pre-filter (Code SPUA045) with a
cut length of ¼" pipe supplied with the instrument (Code SPUA036).
4. Using another cut length of the same pipe, connect the outlet of the pre-filter to
the water inlet fitting of PURA PLUS™.
5. Screw the rotating elbow fitting ¼"F – ¼"T (Code SPUA044) onto the rear water
supply fitting of the autoclave (see autoclave manual).
6. Connect a cut length of ¼" pipe to the water outlet fitting of PURA PLUS™.
Attention: If PURA PLUS™ is installed at a lower level than the level of the
autoclave inlet fitting, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS in previous POINT D.
7. Connect the other end of the pipe referred to in point 6 to the fitting referred to
in point 5, screwed onto the autoclave.
8. Connect the drain fitting of PURA PLUS™ to the waste water line, again using a
cut length of ¼" pipe.
9. Connect the power cord of PURE ™ at a special jack on the rear panel of the
autoclave
10. Rotate the two ball valves so that the levers are parallel to the tubes going into
and out by themselves (Fig. 11, 12).
11. Open the tap water supply upstream of PURA PLUS™ and let water run for at
least 1 minute.
12. Rotate the two ball valves so that the levers are perpendicular to the tubes (Fig.
13 & 14).
13. Verify that the final condition of PURA PLUS™ is similar to that shown in Fig. 15
& 16.
14. Verify that there is no loss of water and rearrange PURA PLUS™ original position.
15. The settings and programming of the autoclave are given in the manual of the
autoclave itself.
16. Press and hold the button on the manual water filling the front operator panel of
the autoclave until a beep.
17. The setting and programming of the autoclave are shown in the autoclave
manual.
