PEDOMETER
The pedometer senses your body motion and counts your footsteps. This count is
converted into distance by knowing the length of your normal stride. It also includes a
calorie counter which tracks the calories burned during your workout.
Computing your stride length:
Before setting the pedometer, you need to calculate your stride length. Your stride length
determines the overall distance travelled and the calorie consumption. To calculate your
average stride length, walk ten steps as illustrated below and divide the distance
covered by 10 to reach your average length.
Setting the pedometer:
1. Set the selection switch to PEDO
2. Press and hold SET for 2 seconds until you see the CM
(centimetres) indicator and the display flashing.
3. Press ADJ/ST-SP to input your stride length and SET to
confirm. The stride length ranges between 25cm and 200cm
with incremental steps of 1 cm.
4. Input your weight by pressing ADJ/ST-SP. The weight ranges from 14KG to 200KG

Notes :
To get an accurate total distance travelled and calorie consumption, it is important
to keep a regular pace while walking or jogging.
The display of the calories consumed during a workout is a rough estimate of the
calories consumed based on the user's weight, stride length and the number of steps.
The total calories spent can vary widely depending on the user's gender and age.
The unit intended to be used on a flat ground.
Incorrect readings may occur in the following situations:
- If you keep an irregular pace, drag your feet or walk in sandals.
- If you subject your unit to sudden motions, jumps, sports, and steep slopes.
