GETTING STARTED

Opening the cover:
To open the cover, pull the clip away from the case as
shown herewith.
Installing the unit:
Your Lexibook physical training meter can be attached to a belt, skirt or trousers. Make
sure to secure the unit horizontally. Improper installation may cause inaccurate readings.
Dropping the unit due to the misuse of the belt clip will invalidate your warranty.

REPLACING BATTERIES

This unit operates with 2 AG13 button cells (included).
Make sure to read the following instructions before
installing or replacing batteries.
1. Open the cover of your unit. The battery
compartment is located on the left of the screen
as shown herewith.
2. Open the battery compartment and remove the 2
old batteries.
3. Insert the 2 new AG13 button cells by making sure
the positive poles (+) are facing upwards.
4. Replace the battery cover.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge the batteries. Remove the storage
batteries before recharging. Recharge storage batteries under adult supervision. Do not
mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel cadmium) batteries. Do not mix different types of battery and storage battery.
Insert batteries and storage batteries according to the polarity. Wrong polarity may
damage the unit. Remove used storage batteries from game. Do not short-circuit the
battery or storage battery terminals. Keep batteries away from fire. If the unit remains
unused for an extended period, remove batteries.
Note: For an optimal performance and operating time, please use high quality batteries.

OPERATING THE RADIO

1. Plug the earphones in the jack.
2. Turn the radio on by turning the volume knob on the side
anti-clockwise.
3. According to your listening preferences, adjust the
volume using the control switch.
4. Press the [SCAN] button to browse through the radio stations
and select one.
5. You can also press the [RESET] button to put the receiver back to lower end of FM
band, and then use the [SCAN] button to move from one station to another on the
FM band.
6. When the radio is not in use, remember to switch the volume knob off by turning
it clockwise. This will preserve the energy of your batteries.
Note: switching the radio off resets the auto-scan of the radio stations.
Caution: The radio station may skip or the sound from the earphones might be cut off in
an out of reception area. This is a reception problem and does not mean that the unit is
defective.

SETTING THE ALARM CLOCK

Setting the clock:
1. Set the selection switch to CLOCK. To toggle between
the clock time display and the alarm display, press
MODE/RESET.
2. Press and hold SET until the hour digit is flashing.
3. Press ADJ/ST-SP to move the digits upwards and press
SET.
4. Press ADJ/ST-SP to set the minutes and press SET.
5. Press ADJ/ST-SP to reset the seconds digits to 00.
6. Press SET one last time to confirm your clock settings.
Note :
After having completed your settings you can choose between the 12-hour (AM-PM)
and 24-hour display by pressing ADJ/SP-SP.
Keeping ADJ/ST-SP pressed down will adjust the digits at a faster rate.
