- Easier for your cabling (often less cable needs to be used)
- More reliable: if you have a problem (ex. Short circuit) in the long DMX-chain, all units behind the
problem will not work anymore. If you have different lines, only the units in the line with short circuit
will be affected...
Example: if one of the units in LINE1 has a problem, the units in LINE2+3 will not be affected.
USING THE UNIQUE "1CH DMX MASTER/SLAVE" SYSTEM
The advantage of most effect lighting is the master/slave function where the master controls several slaves
to obtain wonderful "preprogrammed" shows. Once you connect the effects to a DMX-controller, this nice
feature is lost. However the new JB Systems "1Ch DMX Master/slave" system preserves the unique
master/slave function, you can even control it by an external DMX-controller!  Check www.jbsystems.be

To be able to use this feature you need the "Mini DMX-SPLITTER", as shown in the setup below:
LINE 1 is the original DMX-line with all kinds of DMX-equipment. LINE 2 is the secondary DMX-line where
the effects can be connected in Master/slave: the master will be controlled by the DMX-controller; the slaves
will be controlled by the master.
