4.4 INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
Following accessories are included in the box:
• Twist-on Wire Nut Connector (Marrette)......................................................... 6 pcs.
• Flat Head Self Tapping Screw : 2.9 mm dia ; 1.1 mm Pitch ;
9.5 mm long ; Phillips drive............................................................................... 2 pcs.
• 2 sided adhesive strip (60 x 10 x 1.5 mm) ..........................................................1 pc.

4.5 INSTALLATION SEQUENCE

The controller uses internal MOSFET based reverse current blocking for night-time battery
discharge prevention. This allows much lower losses as compared to Diode based blocking.
Hence, it is not necessary to provide external Blocking Diode.
Install as follows:
1. Mount the unit using 2 pieces of self tapping screws provided with the unit.
The unit may also be mounted using the 2-sided adhesive strip provided with the unit.
2. Connect the Black wire marked "Bat Neg" (4, Fig 4.1) to the Negative terminal of
the battery.
3. Connect the Negative terminal of the battery to Earth Ground for protection against
