Intended use

The mounting instructions come as part of the Duravit shower
trays and must be read carefully prior to installation.
Target readership and qualifications
The shower trays must only be installed by trained plumbing
engineers.

Safety instructions

Product and/or property damage
A compound seal behind and below the shower tray is absolutely
essential to protect against water damage.
> Apply a compound seal in accordance with DIN 18534 across
all trades.
> Use the integrated membrane to produce a second sealing
layer.
The breach of local and country-specific regulations and standards
can cause damage to the product and/or property damage.
> Observe the local installation regulations and any
country-specific standards at all times.

Producing a second sealing layer
> Incorporate the sealing membrane into the compound
seal.
> Never cut into the sealing membrane.

Using the noise reduction gasket (optional)
> Fit the noise reduction gasket # 791372 to the support
frame in order to meet the higher soundproofing
requirements under DIN 4109/VDI 4100/SIA 181.
> Observe the separate instructions for mounting the noise
reduction gasket.

Installing the shower tray flush with the floor
> Measure the depth of the niche (x) in order to install the
shower tray flush with the floor.

Setting the support frame height
> Use the feet to preset the height of the support frame (d)
according to the depth of the niche (x) and the height of
the shower tray (c): d = x - c .

Moving the feet
The support frame feet can be moved if necessary.
> Unscrew the feet and move them to the right or left with
the plastic sleeves. Do not move the plastic sleeves into
the corners.
