C. DCF signal
This clock is designed to set itself automatically on reception of the radio signal coming from
close to Frankfort in Germany. It allows all European country within approx. 1500 kms radius
around Frankfort to benefit from this radio signal. Summer and winter time settings will be
also automatic.
All is set by this radio signal which is received by the clock several times a day.
DCF signal reception
The unit starts searching for the DCF signal automatically after been start up. This operation
can take several minutes to several hours. Please do not hesitate to change of room for the
first reception. The unit automatically adjusts depending on the signal every day at 2 o'clock, 3
o'clock, 4 and 5 o'clock.
Press 2 seconds on the "Down" to restart the DCF research.
An antenna icon appears on your screen (top left) when the signal is detected. If this icon
disappears, it means that the signal was lost.
Once the signal received, the time is set automatically.
For optimum results, please put the device in a naturally ventilated room. Indeed, air
conditioned rooms can reduce the accuracy of the device
D. Settings and use
1. Setting the alarm and snooze
 Hold two seconds "Alarm" to enter the mode "alarm setting."
 The setting sequence is as follows: Hours / Minutes / Exit
 Press "Alarm" to confirm the setting and move on.
 Press "UP" / "DOWN" once to advance or reverse the setting.
 Hold these buttons down to scroll faster the setting change

The unit will exit the setting mode if no key is pressed for 8 seconds.
Once triggered and except "Snooze" activation, the alarm will sound as follows:
0 – 10 sec.: one "beep" per second
10 – 20 sec.: two "beep" per second
20 – 30 sec.: four "beep" per second
after 30 sec.: "beep" continuously.
When the alarm sounds, press "Snooze" if you want that the device to ring again 5 minutes later

 Hold 2 seconds the button "set" to enter the mode "setting the time."
 The setting sequence is as follows: Time Zone / Hours / Minutes / Years (2007-2050) /
Month / Date / Language / Exit
