ELECTRIC TRAVEL KETTLE
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fl uctuation or
the modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. Do not operate kettle with a damaged cord. All repairs including cord replacements shall be performed
by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk of electric
shock!

Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric
shock. You may not immerse the kettle or its base in water or other liquids!
4.
Do not use the kettle outdoors or in moist environments. Do not touch the cord or kettle with wet hands.

Leaving the kettle cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the cord from
the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the
cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
6.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
7.
Only use original accessories.
8. Do not leave the kettle running unattended.
9.
Close supervision is necessary for operating the kettle near children! Never allow children to use the
appliance alone to protect them against the risk of electric shock. Keep the appliance out of reach of
children. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop on which the appliance stands.
10. Keep the kettle away from hot surfaces and sources of heat (for example, hot plates).
11. The kettle is equipped with a reversible thermal safety fuse, which will interrupt power supply in case that
the steam fuse fails and water boils out. If this occurs, disconnect the device from the power supply and
allow it to cool.
12. Before starting the kettle, you have to put water in it! If you start an empty kettle, the reversible thermal
safety fuse will be damaged; the repair must be performed by qualifi ed service personnel. This damage is
not covered by warranty.
13. Use the kettle only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. The manufacturer is not liable
for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
14. This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas, including:
- kitchen corners in markets, offi ces and other workplaces
- appliances used in the agricultural industry
- appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential areas
- appliances used in bed and breakfast businesses
15. This appliance shall not be used by persons (including children), whose physical, sense or mental inability
or insuffi cient experience and skills prevent him from safely using the appliance, if they are not supervised
or if they have not been instructed regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. Child supervision is essential to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
CAUTION
1.
Always use cold water when fi lling the kettle.
2. The water level must not exceed the MAX marking inside the kettle. A minimum amount of water has to
cover the raised edge of the heating element. Hot water may spurt out if the kettle is overfi lled.
