When you return
After you return from your trip, you will have to take off your carrier, unfortunately.
This is also quite easy to do., Here's some help:
1. Release the cocoon by unwrapping the cord with press studs on strap 2. Release the
Velcro strip with your left hand, while holding your right hand on your baby's back.
2. Slide the straps away from your shoulders, while holding hand on your baby's back
(with new-borns support of the neck is important). Now lift your baby out of the carrier
with an upward movement (we recommend placing your both hands under the
armpits). Place your baby on a safe spot first. Your carrier will stay in place as you are
still wearing it.
3. After you have made sure your baby is safe, untie the knot under the cocoon and
place the outer ends of the straps in the foot pockets to prevent them from falling on
the ground.
4. Slide back the elastic safety band and remove the waistband by opening the buckle.
5. Roll or fold your carrier into a compact package - ready for your next adventure.
The benefits of the HEMA carrier:
- Suitable for use from day 1 (approx. 2.5 kg) until about 11 kg (size 50-80)
- This carrier is designed so that your baby is carried in an M-position with an ergonomi-
cally curved of back.
- Developed with test babies and baby carry consultants
- Jersey straps ensure that your baby's weight is evenly distributed over your shoulders to
EN
ensure you can carry your baby in comfort.
- The soft material allows for good tactile contact with your baby while carrying (your
baby can feel your hands stroking its back through the soft canvas and straps)
- The carrier is machine washable at 30 degrees (delicate). The removable hydrophilic clo-
th can be washed at 60 degrees. The fleece cloth can be washed at 40 degrees.
- The pockets on the waistband can be used for baby's feet and/or to store the ends of
the straps
- The extra elastic safety strap ensures that, if the buckle snaps, the waist-
band does not release
- Suitable for adults with dress size 34 – 48 (62-135 cm for the waistband).
- The removable insert cloths can be placed in the cocoon to provide neck
support for newborns.
- If your baby is able to sit upright without support, you can also use the
carrier on your back*
* When carrying your baby on your back, ask someone else to check that
the straps are properly secured. The carrier is fastened in the same way
as described above except that you do not cross the inner straps over the
belly.Instead, ut you secure the carrier under your arms and on your lower
back.
One disadvantage: your baby will have to come out of your carrier at some
point...
important! Read these
instructions carefully and
keep them in a safe place for
