3.3 Installing/removing the impact
► The impact can be removed for the transport.
To do this, the following measures must be
performed in the specified order:
► Remove the additional weights (15) using the
provided spanner, fig. F
► Swing down the transport carriage (3) as described
under item 3.2. This prevents the drive unit from
falling during the following steps.
► Loosen the four nuts, fig. K (h) on the swivel joint
(19) with the provided open-ended wrench size 24.
► Remove the impact.
The impact and drive unit are installed in reverse
order.
3.4 Installing/removing the control panel
The control panel can be disconnected from the
machine for transport. To do this, the following
measures must be performed in the specified
order:
► Loosen the strain relief (14) of the control unit from
the machine
► Loosen the screw connection of the plug (23) and
carefully remove it.
Observe the coding and make sure the screw
connection is secure when reconnecting.
The control panel can remain on the mounting
(13) for the transport.

3.5 Installing/removing the blade
► Prior to performing any work on the electrical
tool, unplug the mains plug from the socket.
► We recommend wearing safety gloves for
inserting the blades.
Warnung
Caution!
When working, the blades becomes very hot. Do
not touch them before they cool off.
► Lift the impact.
Turn the switch (34) to actuate the stroke
mechanism.
For safety reasons, the blade is not
pre-assembled.
Attach the supplied blade guard!
(It is included in the tool set)
Warnung
Caution!
There is a risk of injury if the blade guard is not
installed, as the blade is very sharp!
►Clean and loosen the screws (a) in fig. C.
With normal and hard surfaces, the bevelled
side should face up (1) and with soft surfaces
(e.g. chip boards), the bevelled side should face
down (2).
► Insert the blade (c), according to the surface, bet
ween the swinging mechanism (e) and deflector (d).
► When inserting the new blade, make sure that the
blade is flush on the supporting edge.
►Tighten screws (a).
