Safety Notes

6 Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent
crushing and cutting injuries.
6 The shower system may only be used for bathing,
hygienic and body cleansing purposes.
6 The hot and cold supplies must be of equal pressu-
res.

Installation Instructions

• The fitting must be installed, flushed and tested after
the valid norms.
• Hansgrohe mixers can be used together with
hydraulically and thermically controlled continuous
flow heaters if the flow pressure is at least 0,15 MPa.
Assembly (17430XXX / 17630XXX)
1. Flush through the supply pipes.
2. Mount the ball S - unions.
3. Fasten the mixer using ball union nuts, align and
tighten it.
4. The ball - S - unions enable inaccuracies in the wall
installation to be compensated for, whether in the
horizontal direction, in the vertical direction or in the
parallel orientation.
5. Screw the flanges down to the wall.
Assembly (17470XXX)
1. Flush through the supply pipes.
2. Mark the holes on the bath rim and drill (centre
distance 150 mm).
3. Mount the elbow unions with O-rings and
escutcheons.
4. Fasten the mixer and tighten it.
