HOW TO GRILL SAUSAGE
Important: Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
Note: The nonstick coating on the grill plates is designed to work without
oil, butter or cooking spray. If desired, you may use oil or butter. However,
aerosol cooking spray should never be used; aerosol spray chemicals can
build up on the surface of the plates and reduce their effectiveness.
The grill does not need to be preheated.
1. Plug electrical power cord into standard electrical outlet.
2. Using nylon tongs (never a fork), carefully place uncooked refrigerated
sausage into positions on the bottom grill plate. The grill accommodates
from one (1) to five (5) dinner links, one (1) to fourteen (14) breakfast
links or one (1) to eight (8) breakfast sausage patties.
3. Close grill cover gently and firmly over sausage links.
4. Push in latch on grill handle until it "clicks" to securely close the grill
cover.
5. Press the START button to turn the grill on. The blue START button
light will turn on.
6. The grill will signal with one (1) beep and automatically shut off when
the sausage reaches doneness temperature.
Š The JOHNSONVILLE
designed to grill sausage to a safe doneness temperature.
The grill will sound one (1) beep when the sausage is fully
cooked. The grill will automatically shut off.
Š The typical cook time for refrigerated, uncooked Johnsonville
Sausage is 10-15 minutes for dinner links, and 7-8 minutes
for breakfast sausage and patties.
7. After the grill beeps to signal doneness and the grill shuts off, use pot
holders or oven mitts to carefully open the grill cover.
8. Remove cooked sausage using nylon tongs.
9. Unplug the grill.
