SETUP:

1. Move the throttle position to neutral.
2. Press the button for more than 2 seconds until you hear 3 "beep" sounds once, the LED will be on
to indicate you are now in Setup. (Now can release button.)
3. Pull the throttle forward and stop for 1 second.
4. Then you need to pull the throttle reverse and stop for 1 second. Back to neutral position again
and if set successfully you can hear a 3"beep" sound. (The reverse range and forward brake level
area is learned.)
5. LED will turn off automatically to indicate setup complete.
The speed-controller has memory function to save the setting. If user fail in
setting, user can still recover back to the previous setting by powering off the speed-
controller.
CUT OFF VOLTAGE SETUP:
Press button once, the red led will flash three times. It means it entered LiPo-battery mode.
Press button once again. The red led will flash twice. It means it entered NiCd/ NiMH mode.
After each Setup, it will return to Lithium mode.
- Lithium mode: 2 cells cut off voltage at 6.0V
- NiCd/ NiMH mode: without cut off voltage.
CAUTION:
- If the speedcontroller or motor is over 100°C please change the gearing to lower one. Otherwise, it
may damage the speed controller or motor.
- Once the speed controller's power is on, handle the motor and the controller with
extreme care. Ensure that everyone is well clear of the motor at all times. Rotating motors are
extremely dangerous!
- Disconnect the power when not in use and do not leave the speed controller unattended while
using.
- Please read this manual once and pay careful attention before using the motor & the controller.
- Make sure that all inputs and outputs are connected correctly.
- Avoid cross connection, short circuits or reverse polarity.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not power on the speed controller when your hand is wet. Protect the unit from damp or
moisture.
- Do not leave the unit in direct sunshine.
- Never cover your speed controller or motor with any kind of material. On the contrary, allow airflow
will increases performance.
- As the speed controller has overheats sensor, so it is recommended to increase the airflow for
cooling. Otherwise if overheat happen, the speed controller will lost power.
- Motor is hot component after running. User touch it carefully.
- The screw do not drill inside the motor from the top cover more than 2mm. It may damage the
motor.
