Before use

Read these safety instructions carefully before using your appli-
ance and keep the manual for future reference.

Dangerous voltage
This appliance is designed to be used for domestic and simi-
lar purposes such as:
– kitchens used by employees in shops, offices and other
working environments;
– farms;
– use by guests in hotels, motels and other residential
environments;
– other bed and breakfast-type accommodation;
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge on the con-
dition that they have been given supervision or instructions
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and under-

stand the hazards involved.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 months of age unless
they are under constant supervision.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, their after-sales service or a similarly qualified
person to avoid any hazards.
The maximum dry laundry load for this appliance is 8 kg.
The ventilation openings must not be obstructed by a mat.
The tumble dryer must not be used if chemicals have been
used for cleaning.
The lint filter must be cleaned frequently.
Adequate ventilation must be provided in order to avoid a
backflow of gas inside the room from appliances burning
other fuels, including the use of open fires.
Lint must not be allowed to accumulate around the tumble
dryer.
Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
Items that have been soiled with substances such as cook-
ing oil, acetone, alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, stain removers,
turpentine, wax and substances for removing wax should be
washed in hot water with an additional quantity of deter-
gent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, wa-
terproof textiles, items lined with rubber and clothing or
pillows comprising foam rubber parts should not be dried in
the tumble dryer.
