Warnings for using battery-operated tools

Check that the switch is in OFF position before connecting the battery. The connection of the tool to the battery
while the switch in ON position, can damage to the battery and increase the risk of injuries.
Just use the battery charger specified by the manufacturer. The use of other battery chargers can damage the
battery and cause fire or explosions.
The tool is designed for being operated by the original battery only. The use of other batteries can cause damages
to the tool and increase the risk of injuries.
The battery must be stored away from metal parts, like clips, coins, keys, nails or screws. A short circuit can cause
a fire.
Incorrect use will cause leakage of liquid from the battery. If your body is splashed by the liquid, please flush by
clean water and consult a doctor. Liquid of battery will cause injury and burns.

Personal safety

While using the tool, keep focused on what you are doing and use common sense. Do not operate the electric tool
when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medicines.
A moment of inattention can cause serious personal injuries.
Use the individual protective devices indicated in this manual. Always wear goggles. Safety equipment, such as dust
mask, anti-sliding safety shoes, helmet, noise-abatement headset will reduce personal injuries.
Avoid any accidental operating. Make sure that the switch is in the OFF position when connecting the tool to the
battery, as well as when moving or carrying the tool. Carrying the tool with your finger on the operating lever and the
switch in ON position can cause accidental tool operating.
Remove all adjustment keys or wrenches before putting the switch in ON position. A wrench or key left connected to
moving parts of the electric tool can cause personal injuries.
Do not overreach. Keep proper body balance at all time. This enables a better control of the electric tool in
unexpected situations.
Wear adequate working clothes. Do not wear loose clothing or jewels. Keep clothes, gloves and hair away from the
moving parts, because they could get caught.

Maintenance

WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear
protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a qualified mechanic.
Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, disconnect the tool from its air hose.
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
Only qualified mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance
is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should
be activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at Authorised Service Points.
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
qualified mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:

work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.

Pruning shear special safety instructions

Keep anybody at least 1.5 m awayb from the blades. Do not move the tool while the mobile blade is cutting.
Keep any part of your body at least 15 cm away from the blade. A careful use of the tool can avoid injuries.
Move the tool only with closed blades. Protect the blades during tool storageto reduce the risk of injuries.
Wear suitable work clothes with protective anti-slipping shoes, long trousers, gloves and goggles.
