MAINTENANCE
Recommended Maintenance Intervals
NOTICE: Always turn unit off and unplug before
performing any maintenance.
DESCRIPTION
1 Clean the fuel lank
2. Replace the fuel filler
3. Seneice the burner
4. Inspect the neat exchanger.
1. Cleaning the fuel tank.
The fuel tank should be cleaned out once a year. To
clean the tank, follow these steps:
a. Place an appropriate container beneath the drain
plug to catch any fuel.
b.Remove the drain plug with a wrench.
c Allow the tank to drain completely.
d. Replace the drain plug.
e. Dispose of waste fuel in accordance with tocal
regulations.
WARNING!
Diesel fuel and diesel/kerosene
are flammable and potentially explosive. Always tu
off and unplug the Dragon before draining the fuel
tank. Do not smoke while draining fuel. Keep away
from open flame.
2. Replace the fuel filter
Replace the fuel filter once a year. The filter is a spin-on
type and is located inside the right side cabinet behind
the control panel Have rags or paper towels on hand to
clean up any spills, and dispose of the filter and waste
fuel according to local regulations. You must bleed all air
from the fuel lines and allow the filter to fill with fuel
before the burner will ignite. See "Bleeding the fuel
li nes," p_ 4.
3. Servicing the burner
Copies of the AFIAFG Oil Burner Manual and the
GeniSys Model 7505 Advanced Burner Control Manual,
published by R.W. Becket Corporation. are included with
your Dragon documentation. Please refer to these
documents for information about servicing the burner
4. Servicing the heat exchanger and
combustion chamber
In ti me, soot may accumulate in the the heat exchanger
and combustion chamber. To ensure proper operation,

5. Cleaning the housing
To clean the Dragon housing, use a cleaner with a
degreasing agent such as Unsmoke Degrease-All
Accessories Included
The Dragon X2 Mobile Furnace includes the following
parts and accessories:
3 25 ft sections of 8 in. (7.6 m
temperature ducting. One end of each duct is fitted
with a sewn-in cuff and integrated belt and buckle.
1 thermostat with 60 ft. (18.3 m) sensor cord.
