To use the AC/DC adapter:
1. Make certain the power is off. The ON/OFF Switch (H) should be in the OUT position
before plugging in the adapter.
2. Plug the adapter into the AC/DC jack (L) on the right side of the machine and the
other end into an electrical outlet.
3. Be certain the machine is properly threaded and that fabric is positioned correctly
for sewing before turning on machine.
To use batteries:
1. Make certain the power is off. The ON/OFF Switch (H) should be in the OUT
position.
2. Insert 4 AA batteries into the Battery Compartment (M) on the bottom of the machine.
Replace all 4 AA batteries as a simultaneous set.
3. Be certain the machine is properly threaded and fabric is positioned correctly for
sewing before turning on machine.
Threading the EasyStitcher
Using a Pre-threaded Bobbin or a Thread Spool
The EasyStitcher™ comes pre-threaded from the factory. Carefully examine the
threading before removing it to replace the thread or bobbin with alternative thread.
To Sew with a Pre-threaded Bobbin:
1. Pull Bobbin Spindle (F) out from the sewing machine, if you are replacing the
threaded bobbin.
2. Insert the Bobbin Spindle (F) with threaded bobbin and spring attached behind the
bobbin into Bobbin Holder (E). Make ce rtain the Bobbin Spindle is secured tightly to
the sewing machine and that the end of the thread runs over the top of the bobbin
and then, to the left.
3. Pull thread from the bobbin and insert thread through the Upper Thread Guide (Z),
Step #1 on machine, from right to left.
4. Pull thread over the Tension Adjusting Screw (X) and place it between the two
metal washers behind the Tension Adjusting Screw, Step #2 on ma chine. This
specific placement provides lockstitch tension to the thread.
