that the clipper is turned off.
2. Insert the power cord plug into
the clipper socket or in the char-
ging base then plug the power
cord into the mains. The indicator
light will turn on. If the battery is
very low on power, wait about 1
minute.
3. The battery life may be increased
by recharging the clipper regu-
larly before its motor stops.
Use on the mains:
Plug the power cord into the clip-
per, then into the mains. Wait 1
minute then push the on/off but-
ton to start the clipper.
IMPORTANT: only use the CA10M
adapter that comes with the ap-
pliance.

Cutting guides
This clipper comes with 8 cutting
guides.
Always fit the cutting guide onto
the clipper before turning it on
and turn the clipper off before
changing the guide.
- First place the cutting guide on
the clipper teeth then press on
the back of the guide until you
hear it click into place.
- To remove, first detach the back
of the guide then lift it up.
Adjusting blade height
To adjust the cutting length, turn
the wheel to the left or to the right
to lock it into one of the 5 posi-
tions.
CAUTION: set the wheel to 3.0
before securing the blades.
MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance of the clip-
per blades will ensure they are
maintained in optimal working
condition.

Set the appliance to the shortest
cut. Hold the clipper with the
blades pointing upward and re-
move them by pressing on top of
the blades.
Brush the blades with the cleaning
brush to eliminate the hair. It is
recommended you lubricate the
blades occasionally.
Carefully apply a few drops of the
oil provided with the clipper onto
the teeth.
Never use other products for main-
tenance; this oil was formulated
especially for the clipper and won't
evaporate or slow the blades. Put
the blades back on the clipper.
