Safety instructions
The appliance is intended to be used freestanding. Do not block
10.
any oven vents. The information on adequate space (top/back/
sides) for sufficient air circulation can be found in the user
manual. Do not install in cabinets.
Only use utensils suitable for use in microwave ovens. Do
11.
not use containers or cutlery made from or containing metal,
aluminium foil, lead crystal glassware, temperature-sensitive
plastics, wood, metal clips or wire ties. Do not use bowls with
milled rims or plastic pots with the lid only partially removed.

Risk of fire!

When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on
12.
the oven due to the risk of ignition.
If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep
13.
the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive
14.
boiling; therefore care must be taken when handling the
container. Danger of burns!
The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall
15.
be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before
consumption. Loosen the screw top and teat before heating to
avoid burns.
Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be
16.
heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after
microwave heating has ended. Eggs may only be cooked in their
shell in a specially designed egg-boiling device available from
specialist shops.
