8.3 Operating modes

The safety relay can be switched to different operating modes using the "mode" rotary switch.
Setting the operating mode:
•
Switch off the supply voltage
•
Open the cover on the front of the safety relay
•
Set the desired operating mode using the "mode" rotary switch
•
Close the cover
•
Switch on the supply voltage
If the "mode" rotary switch is adjusted during operation, the safety relay will go into a malfunction state
until the supply voltage is switched off and on. The same applies if no operating mode is selected
(rotary switch in vertical position).
