    EngliSh Unplug the baby unit and make sure your hands and the unit are dry when you insert the non- rechargeable batteries. Remove the lid of the compartment for non-rechargeable batteries. (Fig. ) Insert four non-rechargeable batteries (Fig. ). Note: Make sure the + and - poles point in the right direction. Reattach the lid.

    EngliSh Sound level lights The parent unit continuously monitors the sound level in your baby´s room and the sound level lights let you know if there is any activity. If your baby cries, you see the sound level lights light up on the parent unit.

    EngliSh reset function This function allows you to reset the parent unit and the baby unit to the default settings. You can use this function if problems occur that you cannot solve by following the suggestions in chapter ‘Frequently asked questions’. You have to reset each unit separately. Press the on/off button to switch off the parent unit.

Nach aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen ist das Gerät sicher im Gebrauch, sofern es ordnungsgemäß und entsprechend den Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung gehandhabt wird.
  • Page 18 Batteriebetrieb Die Babyeinheit benötigt vier Batterien vom Typ 1,5 V R6 AA (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Wir empfehlen den Einsatz von Philips LR6 PowerLife-Batterien. Verwenden Sie keine Akkus, da die Babyeinheit über keine Ladefunktion verfügt. Ziehen Sie die Babyeinheit aus der Steckdose, und achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Hände und die Einheit beim Einsetzen der Batterien vollkommen trocken sind.

Die Babyeinheit muss dabei mindestens 1 Meter von der Elterneinheit entfernt sein. Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 3 an der Babyeinheit gedrückt, bis die Betriebsanzeige beginnt, grün zu leuchten.

Drücken Sie die Lautstärketasten + oder - an der Elterneinheit, bis die gewünschte Lautsprecherlautstärke für die Elterneinheit erreicht ist (Abb. 21). Hinweis: Je höher die Lautstärkeneinstellung, umso mehr Energie verbrauchen die Einheiten.

    DEutSCh Mikrofonempfindlichkeit Sie können die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit der Babyeinheit mithilfe über die SENSITIVITY-Taste der Elterneinheit nach Wunsch einstellen. Dazu muss eine Verbindung zwischen Baby- und Elterneinheit bestehen. Dies ist der Fall, wenn die LINK-Lampe an der Elterneinheit konstant grün leuchtet.
