The equipment must not be used with any of its parts disassembled: before using the
equipment make sure that all its components are properly in place.
To ensure that work is done in absolute safety always make sure that you
follow the described procedures with caution.
To provide greater clarity the numbers given in the diagrams in the following
paragraphs correspond exactly to the numbering in Chapter 3 in the "Equipment
Description" section.

In compliance with EEC 89/392 international accident prevention standards, these equipments are
fitted with safety devices such as fixed and mobile guards to shield moving parts.
This ensures operator safety when the equipments are in use.
USING THE SAND S24 , S24R
7.3
Before using the SAND S24 or SAND S24R sandblasting equipment it is recommended
that you always apply an adhesive protective sheet on the inner side of the glass
hatch to protect it against wear and maintain optimum visibility over time.

Always observe the micron-relevant information given on the tanks. Do not invert the
sand types as this will damage the nozzles and cause sand outflow difficulties too.
It is recommended that you do not employ previously used sand as this will
definitely cause clogging of the nozzles.

CHAPTER 7: USING THE EQUIPMENT
Fig. 4: Fill the sand tanks by unscrewing the knobs (1)
and removing the respective lids (2) on the:
• cylinder (3) with the Blue sticker for 60/110 µm sands
(do not exceed the level marker on the inside of the
tank itself )
• cylinder (3I) with the Black sticker for 110/250 µm
sands (do not exceed the level of the sand-splitter
crown in the tank itself ).
