FIRMWARE REINSTALLATION

Your MP4 Energy™ has an installed operating system, usually called firmware, that
sometimes needs to be reinstalled.
The process is easy, but has to be performed carefully, and only when it is really
necessary. If you see that the player halts, reboots randomly, or you have problems
to access the memory content from your computer, those are signs that the
firmware might be damaged you should reinstall the latest version available.

IMPORTANT: First of all, make a backup of the files inside the your MP4 Energy™ that
you want to keep and disconnect the device from your PC, since during the firmware
reinstallation the memory will be formatted and erased. It is also is very important to
make sure that your computer is virus-free and has no halt/lock problems.
Follow these steps to reinstall the firmware:
1. Connect your MP4 Energy™ to your computer using the provided USB cable.
NOTE: We store the latest firmware version available inside the MP4 memory when
it leaves the factory. However, if you have an internet connection, we recommend
you to download the latest version available by entering your model's page on our
web www.energysistem.com.
2. Automatically the Windows Autorun menu will pop-up asking you to select one
option (unless you have autorun deactivated). Select "Energy Sistem Menu".
3. Once you are at the Energy Sistem Menu screen, select "Install MP4 Energy ™
Firmware Utility". You can also run the installation program "setup.exe" directly
from the "SOFTWARE/Firmware" folder if autorun is disabled. Note: If you
downloaded the firmware form our website www.energysistem.com, unzip the file
somewhere in your computer and simply run the installation program "setup.exe"
