Thank you for purchasing the H+H digital thermometer set.
Please retain the receipt with the original date of purchase for your records. In the case of ser-
vice and warranty issues, you will always be requested to submit a copy of this reciept. Please
contact your H+H dealer regarding warranty claims.
The user manual provides you with all information to ensure safe, easy use of the thermome-
ters. Before using the thermometer set, we request you read this manua thoroughly. Please pay
special attention to the safety instructions.

SAFET Y INSTRUCTIONS
- Only use the flex-tip and pacifier thermometer to measure human body temperature.
- Before each use, check the teat of the pacifier for signs of wear or cracks and pull it to ensure that
it is firmly attached to the shield. Do not use it if a defect is found or if it is loose.
- Ensure an adult supervises the use of the thermometers.
- Store the thermometers out of reach of children, they are not toys.
- Temperature measurement is no substitute for consulting your physician.
C ARING FOR THE THERMOMETERS
- Do not store in direct sunlight or at high temperatures.
- Do not disassemble the thermometers.
- Never use boiling water or a chemical solvent to clean the thermometers.
- Do not wash in dishwasher.
- Do not put the thermometers in a microwave or microwave-sterilizer.
BEFORE THE FIRST USAGE
Clean the digital flex-tip thermometer and the pacifier thermometer before first use.
NOTES ON DISPOSAL
Old units, marked with the symbol as illustrated, may not be disposed of in the
household rubbish. You must take them to a collection point for old units (enquire at
your local authority) or the dealer from whom you bought them. These agencies will
ensure environmentally friendly disposal.
THE FLEX-TIP THERMOMETER
The digital flex-tip thermometer can be used to measure your baby's temperature rectally
(rectum) or axillary (armpit).
USING THE FLEX-TIP THERMOMETER
1. Remove the protection cap from the thermometer.
