1. Checking
When you receive your equipment, open the packaging and check that your UPS has not
been damaged. Packaging includes:
X3 500/650/800/1000: UPS unit, 2 IEC output cables, 1 RJ11 cable and a user guide.
X3 1200: UPS unit, 2 IEC output cables, 1 input power cord, 1 RJ11 cable, 1 USB cable and
a user guide.
X3 1600/2000: UPS unit, 3 IEC output cables, 1 input power cord, 1 RJ11 cable, 1 USB
cable and a user guide.
In the event of damage, please submit a standard claim to the after-sales service
department.
2. Charging the batteries
This unit is shipped from the factory with its internal battery fully charged, however, some
charge may be lost during shipping and the battery should be recharged prior to use. Plug
the unit into an appropriate power supply and allow the UPS to charge fully by leaving it
plugged-in, with no load, for at least 8 hours.
The UPS will automatically recharge its own batteries whenever the switch is in the "ON"
position. You may use the UPS immediately, however the back-up power capacity may be
lower than the nominal value required.
