Installing the Display Using the Accessory Mounting Arm

Use the supplied mounting arm to fasten the display to the seat.
CAUTION
• If you are unsure of the suitability of the mounting arm for your car, as may
be the case with custom-made seating, consult your nearest dealer.
• Usage or placement of this product must strictly adhere to the figure below.
PIONEER does not accept any liability for any problems, damage or loss
incurred as a result of the incorrect installation or usage of this product.
• When using this system, ensure that your seatbelt is securely fastened.
Sudden braking and any other accident may cause your body to collide with
the system. By not fastening your seatbelt correctly you increase your
chances of serious injury in the event of an accident.
• Keep the supplied hexagonal wrench out of the reach of children. Should the
wrench be swallowed or otherwise cause injury, immediately consult a doc-
tor.
• Do not remove the display from the mounting arm while driving.
• Make sure to tighten the screws on the mounting arm before using.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or convert the mounting arm.
• Do not apply excessive loads to the mounting arm.
• The supplied mounting arm must be installed on the boots under the head-
rest. If these boots are not installed on your car seat, you cannot install the
mounting arm. The mounting arm can also not be installed on shaftless
headrests or seats with unified headrests.
• The supplied mounting arm may not be installed on the seat which has
unique shaped shafts or boots.
• Do not install the mounting arm on seats which move the headrest toward
the passenger's head to prevent neck-injuries (whiplash) upon impact.
