Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
If you are unable to switch the device on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Was the fuse for your mains connection triggered?
• Is the lid placed (correctly) on the mixing container and is the mixing container placed
(correctly) on the motor unit? The device has a safety mechanism. When the lid is
shut correctly, the pin (8a) on the bottom of the mixing container is pushed out a
little. When the mixing container is placed on the motor unit correctly, the pin is then
pushed into the slot (8b) on the top of the motor unit. The device can only be switched
on if the lid and mixing container are positioned in place correctly.
• Has the device been overloaded through constant use? In this case, remove the
plug from the mains socket and allow the device to cool down.
• The blade is blocked. Too much content or pieces that are too large have been
poured into the shaker. Switch off the device, remove the shaker and open it. Re-
move some of the content or pieces of food that are too large and try again.
