3.6 Replacing the cartridge filter*

Switch the machine off.
Release the clips on the vacuum cleaner head and
separate it from the drum.
Unscrew the filter retaining knob located on the
bottom. Remove the cartridge filter.
The filter can be cleaned by shaking, brushing and
washing it with water. Make sure that it is dry
before using it again.

3.7 Replacing the bag filter*

Switch the machine off.
Release the clips on the vacuum cleaner head and
separate it from the drum.
Remove the bag filter mounted on the ring.
Separate the fabric filter element from the support
ring in plastic and proceed with the replacement.
*Optional feature depending on the model.

3.8 Inserting the collection bag

A dust collection bag made of filtering material
(paper or microfibre) can be inserted in the drum.
The bag can be inserted easily, feeding the piece
of cardboard with the rubber membrane through
the internal sleeve of the vacuum nozzle shaft.
Make sure that the membrane goes past the raised
part on the sleeve.
The bag is disposable, once it is full it must be
replaced.
