3. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

All adjustment, commissioning and maintenance operations must be carried out by Qualified Personnel
in compliance with current regulations. The personnel of our sales organisation and the Local After-Sales
Technical Service are at your disposal for any further information.
FERROLI S.p.A. declines any liability for damage and/or injury caused by unqualified and unauthorised
persons tampering with the unit.

3.1 Adjustments

Air shutter and head adjustments
Head adjustment depends on burner delivery and is carried out by turning the adjustment screw "B"
clockwise or anticlockwise until the notch on rod "A" matches the pointer.
This changes the position of the baffle with respect to the nozzle and therefore the air passage.
The air shutter is operated by the ventilation (gravity shutter).
To adjust the air delivery, operate the screw "C" after loosening the nut "D". After making the adjust-
ment tighten the nut "D".
To limit losses to the flue with the boiler turned off, the burner is equipped with a gravity air
shutter that automatically closes when the burner stops.
