Battery Power

Battery is not included. Purchase a commercially
available alkaline battery. (LR6, "AA" size)

„ Using with the alkaline battery

Slide the battery cover as far as it will go to the
outside.

Lift the battery cover.
Do not force the battery cover open too far.

Insert an alkaline battery from the (+) marked
side.
Use a commercially available LR6, "AA" size alka-
line battery.

Close the battery cover.
Caution:
Do not use a nickel-cadmium battery.
Notes:
z Setting the volume level to "0" whilst recording with an
alkaline battery reduces the battery drain.
z When you do not use the unit for hours, remove the
battery. (The battery drains gradually even when the
power is turned off.)
