The infrared LEDs integrated in the camera enable the vision at night.
Please observe that the coloured image reproduction changes into black
and white monochrome representation by the activation of the IR-LEDs
caused by increasing dusk. The brightness is recognised by the camera
by a photo sensor at the front side.
The scope of delivery includes a mounting base. This base is fastened to the camera by
means of 2 screws and provides the option to attach a stand support (threaded hole on
mounting base is available). Suitable stand supports/ installation supports are available
optionally.
• Select a suitable mounting place for the camera and observe the operating instructions
of the stand support/installation support for a correct installation.
Make sure that the plug and socket of the connection cable of the cam-
era are not exposed to humidity. Plugs and sockets may only be used
indoors. The cable from the camera must thus (for installation in outdoor
areas or in damp rooms) be placed so it is fed into a dry room.
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or
towards strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure
and a fuzzy picture.
Connection
In order to ensure a correct voltage supply, an optionally availabe pow-
er supply unit is required (12V/DC). When acquiring this power supply
unit, check if the polarity of the low-voltage plug of the power supply
unit corresponds to the labelled polarity of the low-voltage connector of
the camera.
Wrong polarity will cause damage to the camera!
Proceed as follows to ensure correct connection:
• Connect the BNC connector to the video input of your display device (e. g. monitor.)
• Connect the low voltage plug of your power supply unit (not included in scope of deliv-
ery) to the low voltage connector of the camera.
• Plug the power supply unit into a proper household mains socket (230 V/AC 50 Hz).
• Turn your display device on and set the respective channel to enable the display func-
tion.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the outside of the housing of the surveillance camera, disconnect the cam-
era from the voltage supply.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is sufficient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the lens very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggressive
cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to
the current statutory requirements.
