Warranty - After Sales

The VMI® PUREVENT VISION'R unit by Ventilairsec Group comes with a 5-year warranty for parts and
labour in our workshops, with the installer, running from the purchase date, and covering all
manufacturing defects. If the parts are found to be faulty after being inspected by their After Sales
department, Ventilairsec guarantees to replace them.
All of the equipment (sensor, box) carries a 2-year warranty for parts and labour (in our workshops).
In no event does the warranty cover:
- additional charges (labour other than that done in our workshop, travel expenses, etc.),
- damage due to installation that does not comply with this manual,
- damage due to improper use,
- damage due to improper servicing and maintenance,
- damage due to repairs made by unqualified staff or transformation of the appliance,
- damage due to the VMI® being stopped.

Ventilairsec declares that the VMI® PUREVENT VISION'R unit complies with:
The following directives:
- The 2004/108/EC directive for electromagnetic compatibility
- The 2006/95/EC directive for low voltage electrical equipment
The main requirements laid down by the R&TTE 1999/5/EC directive:
- EMC: EN
EN 301 489-1 V1.9.2:2011 / EN 301 489-3 V1.4.1:2002.
- EMF: EN 62233: 2008 / EN 62479: 2010 / 1999/519/EC Directive: limiting the public exposure
to electromagnetic fields.
- Radio: EN 3000220-2 v2.4.1:2012-05.
- Electrical safety: EN 60335-1: 2012 / EN 60335-2-80: 2003 +A1: 2003 +A2: 2009.
Ventilairsec confirms that the EMC, EMF, Radio and Electrical safety tests have been performed by a
certified body. The official declaration of conformity is available upon request.
The EC marking is placed on the product - year: 2020
Ventilairsec confirms that the VMI® PUREVENT VISION'R unit complies with the ground continuity
and dielectric strength tests.
A test has been performed on this product to validate the essential safety aspects in accordance with
Appendix A of the NF EN60335-1:2012 standard. These routine tests are carried out by Ventilairsec
on each VMI® unit that leaves their production plants in order to detect any production variations that
could affect the safety of the products. These tests are performed on the completed VMI® unit ready
to ship, as recommended by the standard.
