Description of the appliance

Overview

The VMI® PUREVENT VISION'R positive input ventilation system you have just purchased features:
1 ventilation module
1 control unit
1 or more humidity sensors
1 or more air quality sensors
1 Hydro'R module
1 home automation box

Using the control unit

Operations that can be done by the user.
Before using the appliance, make sure you have read the General Information section.

Commissioning

Checks prior to use
Installing batteries in the control unit (See Changing the batteries)
Make sure the batteries are installed the right way round as shown in the battery compartment on
the back of the control unit.
WARNING: The VMI® unit must be electrically connected to use the control unit.
Location of the control unit
-
The control unit must not be installed more than 30 m away from the VMI® unit and at least
1 m away.

Some obstacles may reduce the maximum range of the radio communication (walls, metal
objects, floors etc.).

It must be fixed on a horizontal support plate,
-
preferably close to a heating thermostat if the premises are equipped with one.
-
Do not install it close to a hot or cold source.
