If the appliance should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. Contact the Customer Service department. Do not try to repair a faulty
appliance yourself!

Possible cause/solution
Is the mains adapter inserted in the mains socket?
Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains socket.
Check the fuse of the main connection.
Set a shorter roasting time.
The crumb tray is full. Switch off the appliance (press the Off but-
ton (0)), pull the mains plug and let the appliance cool down com-
pletely. Remove the crumb tray, clean it, and reinsert it. Try again.
The set roasting time is not suited for the bread or roll used.
Switch off the appliance (press the Off button (0)), pull the mains
plug and let the appliance cool down completely. After that, try
again with a shorter roasting time.
