4. Operation
Thermostat
The room temperature is
regulated using the infini-
tely adjustable thermo-
stat. If the rotary knob is
set to the lowest setting
i.e. to the extreme left
(see figure), the thermo-
stat switches the heating
device on at an ambient
temperature of approx.
5° - 8° C. During boost
(see below), the thermo-
stat does not work
Switches and buttons
The device has one On/Off switch and four buttons with tellta-
les. The buttons can be used to select the following functions:
Heating level I, heating level II
Various levels of heating output can be set, see table.

into account.
Setback
The temperature set on the thermostat's rotary knob is reduced
by around 4° .
Boost
The temperature set on the thermostat's rotary knob is not ta-
ken into account. Heating levels I and II are activated.
Press "Boost" button once: light is red; boost for 30 minutes.
Press "Boost" button twice: light is green; boost for 1 hour.
Press "Boost" button again: boost deactivated.
Warning!
Depending on the size of the room, heat requirement and ther-
mostat setting, rooms may overheat if the heating is not con-
trolled. This can be dangerous for people who are not able to
leave the room as it gets too hot.
5. Protection Against Overheating
If the permissible temperature is exceeded, the heating device
switches off automatically. If this occurs, disconnect the mains
plug and leave the device unplugged for a few minutes, so that
the temperature limiter can switch back again.
Then rectify the cause e.g. when the air grid is blocked or co-
vered. When the device has cooled sufficiently, it can be star-
ted up again.
