WARNING – Danger of Burns
from Battery Acid
■ Batteries can be deadly if swallowed.
Keep batteries out of the reach of
children and animals. If a battery is
swallowed, immediate medical atten-
tion must be sought.
■ If the battery leaks, do not allow your
skin, eyes and mucous membranes
to come into contact with the bat-
tery acid. There is a danger of burns.
If you touch battery acid, rinse the
affected areas with abundant clear
water straight away and seek medical
assistance immediately.

■ This appliance must be kept away
from fl ammable or heat-sensitive
materials during use. When the device
is set up, be aware that there may
be heat-sensitive insulation in house
walls.
■ Never transport the device with a
gas cylinder connected to it! The
device and gas cylinder must always
be transported separately from one
another.
■ Never immerse the device in water or
other liquids.
■ Make sure that the gas hose is not
squashed, bent, twisted or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces.
■ Always place the device on a heat-re-
sistant, horizontal and stable surface.
■ Do not expose the device to sub-zero
temperatures, persistent moisture,
rain, snow, hail or other weather condi-
tions.
■ Protect the device from collisions.
■ Never place heavy objects on the
device.
■ Take the battery out of the device
when it is dead or if you will not be us-

ing the device for a prolonged period
to prevent damage caused by leaking.
■ Remove a battery which has leaked
from the device immediately and clean
the contacts.

Intended Use

• This top heat gas grill is designed
exclusively for use outdoors. Food
which is suitable for grilling is cooked
in the device at temperatures of up to
800°C. Simmering is also possible in
this device.
• Do not use any charcoal, briquettes or
lava stones in the device.
• Never use the device for heating!
• The device is for personal domestic
use only and is not intended for com-
mercial applications.
• The device should only be used as
described in the operating instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to
be improper. Incorrect operation and
incorrect handling may cause faults
with the device and cause injury to the
user.
• The following are excluded from
the warranty: all defects caused by
improper handling, damage or unau-
thorised attempts at repair. The same
applies to normal wear and tear and to
fat deposits and discolourations on the
device and accessories.
Information about
Liquefi ed Petroleum Gas
The grill is operated with liquefi ed petro-
leum gas. Liquefi ed petroleum gas ( LPG
or LP gas) is also known by the name pro-
pane or butane. In a gas cylinder under
pressure it is liquid, outside it is gaseous.
It has a similar smell to natural gas and
is heavier than air. Escaping liquefi ed
petroleum gas can therefore accumulate
in recesses and thus does not dissipate.
