To enable the function to be switched off, the parallel
button position (5-B) should not be defi ned with another
function. This also applies if you want to be able to stop
ventilation functions Reduced and Forced before the
run-on time.
Defi ne a remote control function to a multi-button
• In the menu Advanced/Defi ne system , move to
line Remote control and press OK.
• Place the cursor in the line for the relevant remote
control function and press OK .
• Press the up arrow button until the SmartControl
channels are displayed.
• Enter the channel that was previously defi ned for
the button (see Defi ne SmartControl accessories )
and select position (A or B) for the desired remote
control function.

Defi ne room sensor
In order to be able to use a sensor in the SmartControl
series as a room sensor, it must be connected to the
current heating system.
• Go to menu Advanced/Defi ne system and select
Heating system.
• Select Yes in the line Room sensor .
• Select SmartControl in the line Type (press up
arrow button until SmartControl is displayed).
• Select the same channel (#1) on the menu line
Channel that was previously selected for this
room sensor (see section Defi ne SmartControl
accessories) .

Operation

This menu displays current temperatures and operating
data.
On the right hand side, the menu shows e.g. the
temperature for the connected room sensor.
If a ventilation unit and combined room sensor (for
measuring rH and Co
) have been installed, the

ventilation submenu can be used to display humidity
and carbon dioxide readings. Click the fan symbol in
the icon list in the "Operation Data" menu to access this
submenu.
