38. Gateway

General

38.1
Gateway (base unit) is supplied with an antenna, junction box (Y-split),
display cable and fi tted connection cable (RJ10-connector).
Gateway communicates with up to seven different CTC SmartControl
accessories simultaneously.
The wireless sensors measure the temperature every 100 seconds (default
value). If a reading has changed by more than 2% since the previous
measurement, the new reading is sent to Gateway and is shown on the
display of the main product. A new reading is also sent after a preset
maximum time, as well as when a new sensor is connected and the "learn
button" is pressed.

manual.

Installation

• Place Gateway on a fl at surface on the main product's top cover
insulation and feed the connection cable (1.5 m), which is pre-fi tted
in Gateway, through the low current grommet on the right side of the
top cover. Pull down the cable along the inside of the side panel and
fi t it to the antenna input on the junction box. The junction box can be
attached to the inside of the front cover with double-sided tape.
• Remove the existing display cable from the display unit of the main
product and connect it to one of the two outlets on one side of the
junction box.
• Connect the supplied display cable between the display unit and the
other outlet on the junction box.
The antenna base is magnetic and can be placed on a suitable metal surface

on top of the main product, in a place where good reception can be ensured.
