43. Room/humidity/CO
sensor
43.1
General
The wireless sensor measures temperature, relative humidity (rH) and CO
level.
The sensor is connected to the wireless network via the main product
display. This is described in menu chapter Touchscreen .
The table in the chapter Technical data shows factory settings for threshold
start/stop values for carbon dioxide level and relative humidity in ventilation
modes Forced and Customised. For instance, ventilation mode Forced
starts when the carbon dioxide concentration is 1,000 ppm during a
sampling interval and it stops when the level falls to 800 ppm. If multiple
sensors are installed, the highest measurements (rH, CO
the display and compared with the threshold values.
During installation, threshold values should be adjusted for conditions in
the home. For more information, please see Installation and Maintenance
Manual for the ventilation unit.
43.2
Installation
For accurate measurements, the sensor should be placed in a location
which is representative of conditions in the home.
• Remove the base plate by pushing in the latch on the bottom of the
sensor with a screwdriver. Gently remove the cover by twisting.
• Connect the wires from the power supply to the terminal block on the
base plate (see photo) and mount the base plate on the wall using
screws. It is possible to create a lead-through for the wires in the base
plate by cutting off some of the plastic.
• Push the cover onto the base plate.
• Connect the power supply cable to the wall socket.

First start
Connect/defi ne the room sensor to the wireless system by selecting a
connection channel in the Defi ne menu on the display and then pushing
the "learn button" on the sensor. For detailed information, see chapter
Touchscreen/ Defi ne SmartControl accessories .
To connect the sensor to the current heating system, see chapter
Touchscreen/Defi ne SmartControl accessories.
