Do not look at the sun through the lens or through
the lens mounted on a camera.
Retinal damage and/or blindness may occur.
Keep out of the reach of children. The lens is heavy
and could cause injury if it falls on a small child.
Also, the lens strap is also a choking hazard. If the
strap becomes wrapped around the neck
suffocation may occur.
Caution
Be sure to mount the lens securely to the camera
and confirm that the lens is locked into place
before use. If not the lens could fall off the camera
causing damage or injury.
Do not leave the lens in direct sunlight where it
may condense the light and start a fire.
Do not look at the sun or other intense light

For safety of lens handling
Caution
・When the lens is mounted on your camera, please be
sure to set it properly and confirm it is firmly locked in
place. If not, the lens could fall off the camera causing
damage or injury.
・The lens is a precision instrument. Handle with care
and do not drop, hit against a hard object, shake
violently or apply pressure. Otherwise, it may cause the
precision parts to malfunction.
・Be sure not to apply too much weight on the lens when
mounted on your camera. The extra weight may cause
damage to both the camera and the lens mount.
・When using a large or heavy lens, be sure to properly
support the lens and camera to avoid damaging the
mounts.
・Be sure to inspect the lens and/or take test shots with
the lens in advance of any actual shooting. This is
recommended for when the lens is new and if the lens
has been in storage for a long time.
・Do not remodel or convert the lens. This may cause
malfunction for both the camera and lens . Repair for the
altered lens may void manufacturer's warranted service.
Remove all dust, dirt, sand, water, harmful gas and
saline matter from the lens. Be sure not to use organic
solvents such as paint thinner or benzin for cleaning.

To prevent damage to your lens, injury to yourself and to others, read the following safety precautions in their entirely before
using this equipment. Keep this safety instruction available where all those who use the product will read them.
Caution
・THE LENS IS NOT WATERPROOF! Do not submerge or
spray the lens with water. Water damaged lens will be
impossible to repair.
・Wipe off water droplet by using a clean dry cloth. Use the
blower to remove dirt and sand. Clean thoroughly when used
near and around the ocean. Salt water is highly corrosive.
・Any water that seeps into the lens could cause it to
malfunction.
・Refrain from using the lens in high humidity or take extra
precautions in these types of climates. In order to keep the
damage minimal and to keep the repair cost down, follow these
precautions, when shooting in such climate. Keep the lens in a
bag or a case and remove only after moving to a place of more
mild temperature. If the lens is left at temeratures over +40C or
under -10C for an extended period of time the lens body could
become deformed or the lens may malfunction.
・When the lens is attached or detached from your camera, turn
the lens to face up for better handling.
・To prevent scratches on the front and rear elements, use the
lens caps at all time when the lens is not in use.
・Avoid touching the front or rear elements with your hand to
prevent smudges and fingerprints.
・Remove fingerprints and smudges by using a lens cleaner
and disposable lens tissues. Use gentle, circular motion from
the center of the lens toward the outer edge of the lens.
